Jerry and Judith Huntley Scholarship
Scholarship History
The Jerry and Judith Huntley Endowment was established by Judith Huntley February 6, 2005. The scholarship was first awarded in 2006.
This endowment was stated when Jerry, who was the coach, passed away suddenly from an aortic aneurism returning from a Girl’s Basketball Game. Both Jerry and Judy were high school teachers for 30 + years in numerous schools in Oregon. Because Jerry and Judy believed so much in the power of education, friends and family helped establish this endowment in their names.
Judy is a past state Oregon ESA President and has served on the ESA IC executive council board. She has served the ESA Foundation as Oregon state counselor for many, many years.
