Ohio State Council/ Nancy Waymire/ Carol Haas Memorial Scholarship
Scholarship History
The Ohio State Council / Nancy Waymire Memorial Endowment was established by Nancy’s daughter, Diane Snider and her ESA Ohio sisters October 1, 1997. The first scholarship was awarded in 1999.
Nancy Waymire was a dedicated member of ESA, having joined Alpha Psi Chapter #1317 in Sidney, Ohio in October, 1951. She continued to be of service to her sisters for 45 years.
During the many years Nancy was affiliated with Alpha Psi Chapter (until her death in October, 1996), she served as the Ohio State Council President in 1966-67. Nancy and her husband, Stu, attended many IC Conventions. Nancy was a dedicated member of the ESA Foundation.
Nancy’s family and many ESA sisters have helped to fund this ESA Foundation Memorial and are pleased to be able to honor and remember her in this way.
