Polk and Price Family Scholarship
Scholarship History
The Polk and Price Family Endowment was established by sisters, Patricia Sparks Polk and Barbara Sparks Price October 1, 2008. The first scholarship was awarded in 2011.
When Pat Polk served as an ESA Foundation Regional Scholarship Processing member, she became more aware of the need for additional endowments to assist deserving Texas students in their goal to further their education.
The Endowment was established in order for the family to continue to support the ESA Foundation Scholarship Program. It was their way to leave a family legacy.
Both sisters are Life Active members of the ESA Foundation and have served as State Counselors. The sisters acknowledge that God has blessed their family in many ways and they want to share those blessings by helping others.
