St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Cancer Survivor Scholarship
Scholarship History
The St Jude Children’s Research Hospital Patient / Cancer Survivor Endowment was established July 16, 2013 by the ESA Foundation Board of Directors.
In 2012 the St Jude Children’s Research Hospital Cancer Survivor Honorarium General Endowment was given from the General Scholarship Fund. But the ESA Foundation Board of Directors wanted to establish an endowment for St Jude patients / survivors. So, Rosalee Echele, Chairman of the Board donated t-shirts from the Memphis Marathons for a t-shirt quilt to be made and auctioned at the 2013 ESA Foundation Fund Fest. The money raised from this auction was the beginning for this endowment.
