California State Council Past Presidents’ Auxiliary "Keys" Scholarship
Scholarship History

The California State Council Past Presidents’ Auxiliary Endowment was established by the California State Council and the CSC Past Presidents’ Auxiliary [the Keys], March 28, 1993. The first scholarship was awarded in 1997.

The California State Council at the urging of the ESA Foundation State Counselor, Judie Cheesebrough, moved to establish an endowment, which would honor all past presidents of California State Council. Motivated by the death of another beloved State President, Verna Ross in 1989, the membership wanted to do something.

Many California women have served the California State Council of ESA with distinction and this endowment honors all past president’s beginning 1948-49. [* indicates decreased members]
